Product Description
Shipping & Delivery

FuMA-Tech / Fumasep® Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM)

Product Overview

Fumasep® Anion Exchange Membranes (AEMs), developed by FuMA-Tech GmbH (Germany), are high-performance polymer membranes designed for selective anion (OH⁻) transport while effectively blocking gases and cations.

These membranes combine high ionic conductivity, excellent chemical stability, and reinforced mechanical strength, making them widely used in alkaline electrolysis, AEM fuel cells, CO₂ electroreduction, electrosynthesis, and laboratory MEA research.

Fumasep AEMs are available in multiple reinforcement types, thicknesses, and customizable sizes, suitable for both fundamental research and advanced electrochemical system development.

Key Features

High OH⁻ Conductivity
Optimized ion exchange capacity ensures low ionic resistance and high current efficiency.

Excellent Chemical Stability
Stable in alkaline environments and compatible with a wide range of electrochemical conditions.

Reinforced Mechanical Structure

PK or PET reinforcement improves dimensional stability, reduces swelling, and enhances durability.

Low Gas Permeability
Effectively separates reactant gases, minimizing crossover in electrolysis and fuel cell systems.

Wide Size & Thickness Options
Available from small laboratory discs to large-area sheets, with thicknesses from 30 µm to 130 µm.

Ready for MEA Assembly
Suitable for hot-pressing and integration into custom membrane electrode assemblies.
