Copper Electrode Holder | Copper Alligator Clip | FrankLab
PTFE Body | Copper Contact Clip | Gold-Plated Copper Terminal For Sheet, Rod, Foil & Thin-Plate Electrodes

Product Overview
The FrankLab Copper Electrode Holder (Copper Alligator Clip Type) is designed for securely clamping high-conductivity electrode materials such as metal foils, rods, wires, thin plates, and carbon substrates. With a solid copper contact clip, a PTFE chemical-resistant body, and a gold-plated copper terminal rod, this holder offers excellent electrical performance for electrochemical measurements requiring low resistance and high signal stability.
Ideal for CV, LSV, EIS, CA/CP, corrosion testing, and electrocatalysis, and compatible with 50 mL and larger electrolytic cells.

Key Features
• High-Conductivity Copper Alligator Clip
Pure copper clip provides extremely low contact resistance
Ensures strong electrical coupling to metal foils, rods, plates, and carbon materials
Suitable for systems where maximum conductivity is required
Optional coatings available (nickel-plated or gold-plated copper) for enhanced corrosion resistance

• Gold-Plated Copper Terminal Rod
High-performance electrical connection to the potentiostat
Corrosion-resistant, non-contaminating, stable over long experiments
Ensures accurate and low-noise electrochemical signals

PTFE Body with Complete Chemical Resistance
Highly resistant to acids, bases, salts, and organic solvents
Electrically insulating, preventing stray current paths
Easy to clean, lab-grade durability

• Suitable for Multiple Electrode Formats
Securely clamps:
Copper, nickel, stainless steel, titanium foils
Precious metal plates (Au, Pt)
Rods and wires
Mesh and carbon-based electrodes

• Compatible with ≥50 mL Electrochemical Cells
Works with:
StonyLab electrolytic cells
H-type reactors and PTFE vessels
