Glassy Carbon Rod Electrode | FrankLab
High-Purity Glassy Carbon | PTFE Body | Diameters 1–10 mm | Fully Customizable

Product Overview
The FrankLab Glassy Carbon Rod Electrode is a high-performance working electrode designed for electroanalytical experiments, electrocatalysis, sensing, and kinetic studies. Made from high-purity glassy carbon, encased in a chemically resistant PTFE body, and equipped with a metal lead pin, it offers excellent stability, low background currents, and broad chemical compatibility.
This is the preferred electrode format for researchers requiring robust, inert, and easily renewable electrode surfaces.

Key Features
• High-Purity Glassy Carbon
Outstanding chemical resistance (acids, bases, organics)
Extremely low background current
Wide electrochemical window
Easy to polish and renew surface
Ideal for redox analysis & catalytic studies
• PTFE Electrode Body
Chemically inert and solvent-resistant
Smooth surface, easy to clean
Excellent insulation and mechanical protection
• Metal Lead Pin (Stainless Steel or Nickel)
Provides:
Low-resistance electrical contact
Strong mechanical bonding
High durability for repeated use
• Wide Range of Diameters (1–10 mm)
