Product Overview
The In-situ Lithium Metal Dendrite Observation Cell is a three-electrode upgrade of the C031-5 platform, engineered for quantitative, real-time visualization of lithium dendrite growth under precisely controlled electrochemical conditions.
By integrating a dedicated reference electrode (Ag/AgCl) into a compact optical cell, C031-5-1 enables researchers to decouple morphology from potential drift, making it suitable for mechanistic lithium metal studies, electrolyte/additive benchmarking, and SEI stability evaluation.
This platform bridges the gap between battery cycling data and physical failure modes, allowing researchers to see dendrites while accurately measuring electrochemical behavior.

Electrochemical Architecture
True Three-Electrode Configuration
Working electrode (WE): Lithium foil or planar metal electrode
Counter electrode (CE): User-defined
Reference electrode (RE): Integrated Ag/AgCl (custom options available)
✔ Enables accurate potential control during Li plating/stripping
✔ Eliminates ambiguity caused by two-electrode polarization
✔ Suitable for CV, CA, CP, EIS-assisted dendrite studies
