Product Overview

The In-situ Raman Spectroelectrochemical Cell is a compact, high-precision platform designed for real-time spectroscopic and morphological observation of electrode surfaces during electrochemical reactions.
The working electrode (WE) is positioned directly beneath a sapphire optical window, enabling Raman, optical microscopy, and other surface-sensitive techniques to probe electrochemical processes in situ. Compared with large flow or gas-diffusion systems, C031-4 focuses on high signal quality, minimal optical path length, and low solution resistance, making it ideal for fundamental electrochemical spectroscopy and materials screening.

Structural Design
Single-Chamber Optical Configuration
•Central disk-electrode architecture
•Optical window aligned coaxially above the working electrode
•Optimized geometry for Raman laser focusing and signal collection
Ultra-Short Optical Path
< 6 mm distance between working electrode surface and sapphire window
•Minimizes laser scattering and electrolyte absorption
•Enhances Raman signal-to-noise ratio
Precision Sealing & Mechanical Stability
•Multi-screw compression structure
•Chemically resistant sealing system
•Maintains alignment during long measurements

Materials & Build Quality
Cell body: High-purity PEEK with reinforced titanium components
Optical window: Sapphire, 1 mm thickness
Sealing elements: Chemically resistant elastomer O-rings
Fast assembly: Tool-assisted but intuitive disassembly for cleaning
Designed to withstand acidic, alkaline, and organic electrolytes commonly used in electrochemical spectroscopy.
