Product Description
Product Overview
The FrankLab 10 mL Micro Sealed Electrochemical Cell is a compact, fully enclosed reaction vessel engineered for high-precision electrochemical experiments where small volume, airtight operation, and flexible electrode configuration are required.
This microcell is ideal for CO₂RR, ORR, HER/OER, electrosynthesis, and studies involving air-sensitive or volatile electrolytes.
Two configurations are available:
· Standard Version
Designed for routine 3-electrode experiments.
· Upgraded Version
Adds a gas sparging tube and sampling port, enabling gas-phase reactions, in-situ monitoring, and improved mass transfer control.
Product Versions
1) Standard Version (Three-Electrode Demo Shown)
· 3–5 functional ports
· For working / counter / reference electrodes
· Gas-tight PTFE threaded stoppers
· Suitable for general electrochemical measurements
· Shown image includes electrodes for demonstration; electrodes sold separately
✔ Best choice for daily testing and catalyst evaluation
2) Upgraded Version (Gas Tube + Sampling Port Added)
Includes everything in the Standard Version, plus:
· Integrated gas inlet tube for bubbling (Ar/N₂/CO₂)
· Additional sampling / injection port
· Allows real-time intermediate analysis
· Supports precision gas–liquid electrochemistry
✔ Best choice for CO₂RR, ORR, NRR, electrosynthesis, kinetic studies

Key Features
· Micro-Volume, High Sensitivity
Small internal volume reduces electrolyte cost, increases signal-to-noise ratio, and enables studies with rare or expensive catalysts.
· Multi-Port Gas-Tight System
Each port seals independently, supporting:
· Inert gas purging
· Closed-system electrolysis
· Moisture-sensitive reactions
· In-situ sampling (Upgraded Version)
• Full Three-Electrode Support
Compatible with:
· Working electrode (GC / Pt / Au / metal disks or rods)
· Counter electrode (Pt wire / mesh)
· Reference electrode (Ag/AgCl / Hg/HgO / SCE)
Customizable to Your Workflow
Thread formats, port size, stopper materials, and gas accessories can all be customized.
