H-Type Replaceable Membrane Electrolyzer [Sealed/ Non-Sealed]

Product Description
Shipping & Delivery
Product Overview
The FrankLab H-Type Replaceable Membrane Electrolyzer is a modular, dual-chamber electrochemical reactor designed for membrane-separated electrolysis, electrocatalysis, and gas-involved electrochemical studies.
Featuring a classic H-type configuration with a replaceable ion-exchange membrane, this system enables strict separation of anodic and cathodic environments while maintaining excellent chemical compatibility and experimental reproducibility.
Both non-sealed and fully sealed versions are available, allowing users to select the optimal configuration based on gas control, pressure requirements, and experimental complexity.
This electrolyzer is widely used in water electrolysis, CO₂ reduction, nitrogen reduction, redox mediator studies, and fundamental electrochemical mechanism research.

Cell Configuration
H-Type Dual Chamber Structure
•Two symmetric reaction chambers (anode / cathode)
• Central flat membrane clamping interface
• Independent electrolyte environments
• Classic H-type geometry for clear half-reaction separation
Ideal for membrane-dependent electrochemical systems and crossover-sensitive reactions

Structure Options
Non-Sealed Version
• Open structure (no gas-tight sealing)
• Simple assembly and operation
• Suitable for liquid-phase electrolysis and basic electrochemical studies
Recommended for routine lab experiments and teaching use

Sealed Version
• Fully sealed PTFE cap structure
• Independent gas inlet & outlet ports
• Supports controlled gas atmosphere and gas collection
• Reduced contamination and electrolyte evaporation
Recommended for gas-sensitive reactions and long-term experiments

Available Capacity Options
(Per Chamber)
• 30 mL – 30 mL
• 50 mL – 50 mL
• 100 mL – 100 mL
• 150 mL – 150 mL
• 200 mL – 200 mL
• 250 mL – 250 mL
• 300 mL – 300 mL
• 500 mL – 500 mL
Custom volumes are available upon request.
