Platinum-Coated Titanium Mesh Electrode | FrankLab
High-Stability Pt/Ti Mesh | PTFE Electrode Rod | Gold-Plated Copper Terminal

Product Overview
The FrankLab Platinum-Coated Titanium Mesh Electrode combines the high catalytic activity of platinum with the mechanical durability and corrosion resistance of titanium. This structure offers a cost-effective alternative to pure platinum mesh while delivering outstanding performance in harsh electrolytes, high-potential environments, and high-current-density electrochemical reactions.
This electrode is ideal for OER, CER, electrocatalysis, electro-synthesis, environmental electrochemistry, and industrial electrolysis research.
Each electrode consists of:
•Titanium Mesh Substrate (Grade 1 or 2)
•Uniform Platinum Coating (0.1–5 μm customizable)
•PTFE Electrode Rod (chemically inert)
•Gold-Plated Copper Terminal(FrankLab Standard)
Optional diagonal reinforcement enhances rigidity for large sizes or flow cells.

Key Features
• High-Performance Platinum Catalyst Layer
Strong platinum adhesion to titanium substrate
High catalytic activity in acidic/alkaline/chloride systems
Stable under high potentials and long-duration experiments
Customizable Pt thickness and loading

• Titanium Mesh Substrate (Grade 1 / Grade 2)
Excellent corrosion resistance
Superior strength-to-weight ratio
Ideal for high-current electrolysis & industrial simulation
Mesh size fully customizable

• Optional Diagonal Reinforcement
Available for large-area meshes
Prevents bending under flow or turbulence
Maintains uniform electrode spacing in cell fixtures

• PTFE Electrode Rod
Provides mechanical stability and chemical inertness
Prevents contamination and unwanted reactions
Length and diameter customizable

• Gold-Plated Copper Terminal (FrankLab Standard)
Low resistance, high conductivity
Corrosion-proof, non-contaminating
Ensures stable, low-noise electrical contact
Universally compatible with all potentiostat connectors
