Product Description

Product Overview
The FrankLab PTFE Electrochemical Cell Series is a versatile, chemically inert reaction vessel engineered for routine to advanced electrochemical experiments in aggressive chemical environments.
Manufactured entirely from high-purity PTFE, these cells offer exceptional corrosion resistance, minimal background interference, and long-term durability. Two configurations are available to match different experimental requirements:
PTFE Non-Sealed Electrochemical Cell — open or semi-open design for routine measurements

•PTFE Sealed Electrochemical Cell — fully enclosed system for controlled-atmosphere and•volatile electrolytes

With volumes ranging from 10 mL to 500 mL, this platform is widely used in electrocatalysis, materials screening, corrosion studies, and electrochemical synthesis.

Product Versions

1. PTFE Non-Sealed Electrochemical Cell

Designed for standard three-electrode measurements where gas-tight sealing is not required.
Key Characteristics
•Open / non-sealed PTFE body
•Easy electrode insertion and adjustment
•Fast electrolyte exchange and cleaning
•Ideal for ambient-pressure experiments
✔ Best choice for daily CV, LSV, EIS, catalyst screening, and teaching labs
Available Volumes 10 mL · 20 mL · 30 mL · 50 mL · 100 mL · 150 mL · 200 mL · 300 mL · 500 mL

2. PTFE Sealed Electrochemical Cell

Designed for air-sensitive, volatile, or gas-controlled experiments.
Key Characteristics
•Fully sealed PTFE lid and body
•Threaded electrode ports with PTFE sealing
•Supports gas purging and closed-system electrolysis
•Reduced evaporation and contamination
✔ Best choice for CO₂RR, NRR, ORR, long-term electrolysis, and volatile electrolytes
Available Volumes 10 mL · 20 mL · 30 mL · 50 mL · 100 mL · 150 mL · 200 mL · 300 mL · 500 mL
