Usage Notes

Always keep the junction immersed in KCl solution when stored.

Dry junctions lead to unstable potential and slow response.

•Avoid use in strong oxidizers

(e.g., concentrated HNO₃) to prevent degradation.

For non-aqueous systems

Use through a salt bridge (e.g., glass capillary with KCl-saturated agar) to avoid contamination.

If potential drifts

Replace internal KCl and soak the electrode in fresh KCl for several hours.
